The Hesitations are a singing group from Cleveland, Ohio that first began recording on the Kapp label in 1967. 'Born Free' from the movie of the same name, and 'The Impossible Dream' were their most noted hits. They recorded four Albums 'Soul Superman', 'Born Free', 'That's Where Its At' and 'Solid Gold'. The Hesitations went to New York in 1968 where they performed at the famed Apollo Theater along with Chuck Jackson. They toured Germany with Dick Clark with the USO show, which was also broadcast on the Armed Forces Radio Stations. The Hesitations have performed with Gladys Knight and the Pips, Stevie Wonder, The Ojays, Sly and the Family Stone and a multitude of others.
