Emily Adams is a California girl with roots around the world. Born into the delightful chaos of a large military family, Emily's seven brothers and sisters often spent evenings listening to their dad's eclectic collection of music including classics like Bob Dylan and Buddy Holly.
After watching many episodes of Buddy Holly performing on The Ed Sullivan Show, Emily picked up her first Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. So inspired by music, she taught herself to play harmonica and acoustic guitar at just twelve years old. Emily Adams' raw strength and natural ability have earned her fans since childhood. She is a singer songwriter and has loads of talent to share.
Emily left the house at seventeen to pursue a career in music and entertainment. She's been grinding it out ever since. She recently released her debut LP Betrayal, and Emily has been getting lots of traction with this one.. This song has a depth beyond most of the songs that get released nowadays. With a vast use of metaphors and poetic twists she tells a story that connects deep into the soul. It is written from the perspective of pain. A search for personal healing.
This could be the most revealing and intimate work of Adam's career to date. It's dark, rich & romantic atmosphere is a backdrop for the story of her past experiences: true love, true loss, and in the end, hope for the future. 'Down to the Top' is a delicate blend of emotions with a catchy melody: the work of a powerful singer-songwriter at her best, yet most vulnerable. Through music she offers us as listeners a way to express and heal ourselves and that is what further contributes to her true purpose in life. Emily has that special gift as an artist to connect and communicate her songs in a universal way, without limitation of genre.
Emily is looking forward to touring in April 2022. She will be a cast member with RiseUP TV Tour & Filming heading to the 420 Festival in Atlantic City. RiseUP TV is a documentary/travel journal TV reality show that has been gaining steam around the world since 2017. It is the brainchild of established music entrepreneur Mark Rosner. Imagine these artists touring together, going from city to city, performing and living together for one week! They are having their every move filmed for television.
